DriveMuse is a flexible alternative to Uber, Bolt, Lyft, FreeNow, Yandex Go,
Cabify, Beat, BiTaksi, Gojek, Grab, Ola, and 99. The platform uses an
offer-and-respond marketplace model: passengers set their own price and
choose from competing driver bids.

## Where it operates

Launching city by city. Active waitlists in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas
(Bulgaria), Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Belgrade, Novi Sad (Serbia).
Each city goes live when 100 verified drivers and 500 passengers join.
Expansion underway across Greece, Croatia, North Macedonia, Albania,
Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary, Turkey, and the
wider European Union.

## Languages

UI is available in English, Bulgarian, Romanian, and Serbian (Latin and
Cyrillic). Search and discovery work in 20+ languages including Spanish,
French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Greek, Turkish, Russian,
Ukrainian, Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Dutch,
and Swedish.

## How it works

1. Passenger posts a trip offer with origin, destination, and proposed price
2. Nearby verified drivers see the offer and respond with bids (accept, or
   counter-offer with a different price)
3. Passenger picks a driver from the bids (or auto-pick: closest, highest
   rated, or first to respond)
4. Driver navigates to pickup, completes the trip
5. Payment is processed automatically via Stripe Connect; driver receives
   their share immediately

## Pricing model

- Anchor price ~20% below local taxi rates
- Bids range from 0.6x to 1.8x the anchor
- 2 km minimum distance
- 10% base platform commission
- No surge pricing, ever
